Job summary

Bueno is seeking a Shift Leader to help operate our restaurant daily under supervision of General/Assistant Manager. You will support staff, drive performance, and lead training initiatives while delivering exceptional customer service.

Applicants should have at least 1 year in QSR, a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with POS systems and ServSafe is preferred, and be available for evenings, holidays, and weekends. Physical demands apply.

Job Descriptions

Our Shift Leaders are the key to operating our restaurants daily. You will help support the General and/or Assistant Manager, ensuring that every shift operates smoothly. You will also help team members through performance and training initiatives. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will keep our customers coming back for more.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
