Job Overview

Shift Manager responsible for leading shifts, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service, and maintaining quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and profitability at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and provide leadership to crew and other managers.
• Plan each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Take action to meet team and departmental goals and McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the next shift.
• Handle scheduling and training of crew.
• Maintain daily maintenance, cleanliness, food safety, and inventory management.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and overall quality food production.

Requirements

Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older. Positive team player with flexible schedule and passion for a fast‑paced environment.
