Wallenius Wilhelmsen Group in Lafayette, Indiana, seeks an Operations Supervisor III (2nd shift 4:30pm-1am) to lead a skilled hourly team at the Vehicle Processing Center. You will drive safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while guiding staff toward operational excellence.

You will mentor your team, manage performance, and collaborate with OEMs to optimize throughput. This role emphasizes Kaizen, 5S, and visual management in a fast-paced automotive setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years first-line supervisory roles with emphasis on employee relations.
• Familiarity with SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S and visual factory management.
• Experience in automotive or mechanical assembly line operations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and database navigation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
