Job summary

Shake Shack is hiring for a shift supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role focuses on safe, clean, and efficient service, while mentoring hourly team members and supporting daily operations.

You’ll participate in interviews, contribute to employee relations, and help maintain quality standards across service shifts. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
