Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a skilled shift supervisor in the United States to lead a restaurant team, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed of service. You will direct hourly team members, participate in hiring, and support inventory and operations as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of leadership experience in a restaurant, stronger problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
