Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a shift supervisor to manage service flow, lead a high-performing team of hourly Team Members, and participate in interviews and employee relations. The role supports purchasing, receiving, and inventory as needed, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed on shift.

The position emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and adherence to local food safety standards, with a focus on creating a positive guest experience and team development.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
