Job summary

The Children’s Place Inc. in Fort Payne, Alabama is seeking an Area Lead to oversee daily shift leadership, mentor and train team members, and keep the Operations Supervisor informed on progress and any product or freight issues.

You will train associates in safety procedures and coordinate KPI follow-ups with the Operations Supervisor. Ideal candidates have strong communication and analytical skills, experience with Warehouse Management Systems (PKMS preferred), and a proven ability to develop

Qualifications

• Must have ability to train and develop others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training with demonstrated competency in developing associates and teams.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Train associates in departmental and Company safety procedures.
• Daily oversight of the Shift with Operations Supervisor guidance.
• Assist with administrative functions of associates.
• Job allocation to associates to include daily follow up of KPIs with the Operations Supervisor.
• Mentor on productivity, quality, cleanliness, and safety.
