Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is seeking a Shift Leader in Florida to oversee daily cafe operations and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will lead training, guidance, and performance coaching for team members, while maintaining brand standards and smooth shift execution.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.
• Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced cafe or retail environment.
• Strong Excel and Word skills for reporting and scheduling.
• Ability to train and coach team members to standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory training when needed.
• Drive brand values and standards through training and development.
• Support coaching and development of management and crew.
• Help hire and staff cafes with under-staffed needs.
• Support new software rollouts and staff training.
• Ensure staff training programs meet DYNE/DTE standards.
• Interact with crew, customers and vendors per core values.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to every customer.
• Train and coach crew to uphold standards during shifts.
• Utilize tools to manage labor and inventory (MyInventory).
• Perform additional tasks to run the cafe efficiently.
