Job summary

Pratt Industries in the United States seeks a shift supervisor to oversee departmental production and ensure items meet specifications. This role emphasizes safety and adherence to policies across the team.

You will lead training, manage paperwork, and enforce procedures while coordinating with maintenance and scheduling to sustain production rates. A high school diploma and production experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to train operators and troubleshoot problems on assigned machinery.
• Must be able to understand and follow production schedules.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates.
• Must have good leadership qualities and maintain the respect of his subordinates.
• Must have a reasonable knowledge of current Production Software.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the health & safety of all employees assigned during his/her shift.
• Follow and ensure that subordinates adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.
• Maintain a safe & clean work area.
• Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are followed. Take disciplinary action as needed
• Ensure that all orders produced are completed according to the specifications provided.
• Maintain acceptable production rates
• Complete all paper work and data entry as required.
• Responsible for the training and retraining of crew members and support personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
