Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Florida is seeking a Team/Crew Leader to supervise and perform basic restaurant operations, ensuring quality products and guest service.

This nonexempt role requires leadership, the ability to follow directions, and strong communication skills; responsibilities include training new employees, maintaining sanitation, and leading shift meetings.

You should be prepared for irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays with at least 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/skills: general restaurant or retail knowledge.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Effective verbal communication skills.

• Ability to follow directions and multitask while leading.
• Leadership, time-management and conflict-resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform, lead, and supervise station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru) as assigned to meet operational standards.
• Assist with new employee orientation and training.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform, lead, and supervise regular cleaning and sanitation duties— including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food prep tools, wiping counters, sanitizing prep areas, cleaning equipment, and disposing of used grease.
• Maintain regular attendance.
