Calif Chicken Café is seeking a Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. You will help oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring top-tier guest experiences and safe, efficient service throughout each shift.

You will mentor staff, manage daily tasks, and work with the leadership team to uphold food safety, quality, and our core values in a fast-paced setting. This role offers growth opportunities and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; must be 21+
• 2+ years in a high-volume quick service restaurant
• Proficient in food planning, purchasing, sanitation, and safety
• Basic math and cash handling; comfortable with a POS system
• Excellent guest service and communication
• Willing to transfer within 50-mile CA radius
• Pass CA Food Handlers course and test

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant areas and ensure guest dining experience is excellent
• Develop and mentor staff; provide ongoing feedback and performance reviews
• Maintain safe, productive work environment and staffing plans
• Enforce food safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards
• Assist management to control costs and achieve financial goals
• Respond to guest complaints and turn dissatisfaction into positives
