Job summary

Papa John’s in Xenia, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and ensure high quality products and customer service while driving restaurant profitability. You will help manage daily operations in line with company policies and standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper dough handling, portioning, and product quality; maintaining service levels and assisting with cash handling and inventory; and supporting a positive, flexible team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning; performs assigned work station duties and maintains product holding times.
• Exemplifies core values, maintains a positive attitude, works well with others and adapts to change.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage for the restaurant and provides immediate feedback to address issues while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Contributes to profit goals by using the FOCUS System, executes cash management, and assists inventory management to minimize loss.
