Job summary

FOUR OAKS FAMILY AND CHILDRENS SERVICES in Mason City, IA is seeking an entry-level professional to provide consistent reinforcement to client behavior, support daily living supervision, and establish a therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect.

You will coordinate home visit transportation, staff scheduling with the Program Manager, and guidance to shift leaders and youth counselors; minimum age 21, HS diploma or GED, and two years of child welfare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of child welfare experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a social services related field is preferable.
• Desire to help kids succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, individualized reinforcement to client behavior, using daily issues to teach and reinforce adaptive behaviors.
• Assist clients in developing insight into their behaviors so that they learn to self-identify and self-correct.
• Provide daily living supervision and treatment intervention.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship with the client based on trust and respect.
• Coordinate home visit transportation logistics.
• Coordinate staff scheduling with Program Manager.
• Provide direction and support to shift leaders and youth counselors.
• Problem solve with fellow Shift Leaders and program coordinator to help fill staffing gaps that may arise.
