Job summary

Owens Corning Gastonia Plant is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise production teams on a 12-hour rotating schedule. You will drive safety, quality, and cost performance while coaching team members to grow and deliver results.

You will implement standard work, lead root cause analysis for quality issues, and coordinate with HR on performance management. This on-site role emphasizes safety, TPM, and continuous improvement within a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; HS diploma required if no 4-year degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety compliance and continuous improvement on shift.
• Develop Standard Work aligned with Quality Management.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis with team involvement on quality issues.
• Train the shift on problem solving and coach to resolution.
• Participate in customer trials on-site and at customer locations.
