Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Lead Shift Leader to support the Production Shift Leader in a rotating shift environment. You will oversee safety, quality, and TPM initiatives while guiding Shift Leaders and Group Leaders to meet customer and internal standards.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance planning, and continuous improvement within a unionized manufacturing setting, reporting to the Complex Leader. On-site Georgia facility with overtime considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environment.
• Minimum 3-5 years of leadership / supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and enforce Owens Corning safety policies across the shift.
• Ensure products meet customer quality standards and support process verification (IP21).
• Develop and coach Shift Leaders and Group Leaders; drive TPM and continuous improvement.
• Manage administrative tasks including payroll verification with Kronos and overtime control.
