Whataburger is seeking a Shift Leader in Murfreesboro, TN to drive operational excellence, lead daily shifts, and coach Team Members to deliver quality food and service. You will partner with the Restaurant Manager to sharpen leadership, manage costs, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and dependable attendance.
• Stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., meet physical demands.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Possess ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate Team Members to perform at a high level.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
