Whataburger in Cordova, TN is seeking a Shift Leader who will drive daily operations, coach team members, and uphold food safety and guest service standards on every shift.

You'll partner with the Restaurant Manager to build shift-capability, monitor costs, and deliver a welcoming, efficient dining experience while growing your leadership toolkit through hands-on training and real responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours.
• Stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs, and meet physical demands.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain during training.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to perform at peak levels.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, and sales performance.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork and a positive work culture on every shift.
• Prepare and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
