RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team on your shift, set a positive tone, and ensure guest satisfaction through friendly service and efficient store operations.

You will coach team members, oversee inventory, cash handling, and food service tasks while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards. This role offers ongoing leadership development and opportunities for advancement within RaceTrac.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set a cheerful, can-do attitude to motivate your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communications and ensure team alignment.
