Job summary

Thacher Restaurant Group is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations, coach peers, and maintain high guest service standards. You’ll support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, upholding food safety, and ensuring timely order delivery.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, value integrity, and develop your leadership skills through on-the-job coaching and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset.
• At least 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
