Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our EMU store in Ypsilanti, MI. You will lead bakery operations, bake and package orders, coach the Cookie Crew, and ensure superb guest experiences during all shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a customer-focused role.
• POS systems experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Outgoing/friendly/patient attitude.
• Detail focused and results-oriented.
• Ability to lead-by-example and motivate others.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while providing guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members with guidance and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations running efficiently.
• Help maintain standards for product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates and collaborate with store leadership to optimize bakery operations.
• Jump in wherever needed to help your team succeed.
