NAYA is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced team and ensure exceptional guest service at our Watertown location. You will lead daily operations, uphold quality standards, and uphold food safety while managing staffing and costs.

We value leaders who coach others, communicate clearly, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and teammates alike. This role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and to lift as needed in a bustling restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a similar restaurant or fast-casual setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests politely.
• Ability to coach and develop team members and manage daily operations.
• Proficiency with standard software (email, scheduling, point-of-sale) and basic math.
• Fluency in English, comfort working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to run smooth, guest-focused shifts.
• Drive sales, manage labor, and control food costs to support profitability.
• Oversee food prep and service to meet recipes and quality standards.
• Schedule shifts, monitor time punches, and ensure accurate clock-ins/outs.
• Handle cash handling procedures and daily administrative tasks.
