Whataburger is seeking a Shift Leader to drive operational excellence on busy shifts, coach team members, uphold quality, safety, and service standards, and turn challenges into growth opportunities.

Based at your home restaurant in Texas, you’ll lead daily operations, partner with the Restaurant Manager, develop shift leadership, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced team culture that values integrity and service.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours.
• Able to stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and meet physical demands.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training).

Aufgaben

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate Family Members to improve skills and performance.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales, and basic inventory.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
