Job summary

Five Guys in Burleson, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to run shifts, oversee operations, and lead by example on a fast-paced kitchen and dining floor.

You will cover cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room, coach crew, train new members, ensure cleanliness and safety, and deliver quick, accurate service with a great guest experience. The base pay starts at $16.50/hour plus tips and bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
• A team-first mindset with strong communicationskills
• Someone who leads by doing—not just directing
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small
• Deliver fast,accurateservice and create a great guest experience every time
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports
