Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Hourly Shift Coordinator to lead restaurant shifts, focusing on sales, profitability, guest experience, and people. You’ll support the RGM and AMs, manage teams, and ensure operational excellence during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include inventory, cash control, waste tracking, and coaching team members to uphold brand standards and fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Maintains inventory by performing Daily and Weekly inventory inspections.
Manages cash control per policy manual; counts cash on hand during shifts and at closing; prepares deposits.
Tracks and records waste.
Conducts table visits to ensure guest experience.
Motivates and directs Team Members to deliver fast, friendly service in clean surroundings.
Fixes bottlenecks, calls chicken drops, and monitors speed of service.
Ensures product quality and standards on the shift.
Coaches, trains, and develops team members at each station including LTOs.
Participates in team huddles and shares ideas to help the team.
Ensures brand standards are met and thanks the team on shift.
Directs shift plans to drive operational results and ensures timely product prep and service.
