Job summary

RaceTrac in United States is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, set the tone, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will coach associates, handle store operations, inventory, and cash handling while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks with breaks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server).

• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
