Job summary

Chick-fil-A Gates of Prosper is seeking a proactive Shift Leader to help run a high-volume front-of-house operation with a strong focus on guest experience and teamwork. You will coach others, assist in training new hires, and lead openings or closings.

This role emphasizes leadership development in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Prior restaurant experience is preferred and a minimum of one year in a leadership role is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• Prior restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Offer immediate and respectful response to guests' needs.
• Assist in training of new hires and set the tone for a shift.
• Demonstrate leadership by coaching, directing, and motivating a team.
• Deliver excellent service to guests and create an encouraging environment for team members.
• Lead other team members during a shift, including opening and/or closing.
• Count drawers and finalize daily sales.
• Ensure excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Be a team player with the good of the business and others in mind.
• Assist with daily decision-making and support staff.
• Ensure quality and safety of food.
• Uphold cleanliness standards.
• Bring ideas to enhance guest experience or work environment.
• Be available to work on Fridays and Saturdays.
