Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, foster guest service, and uphold food safety and store standards. You’ll guide staff across shifts, train team members, and ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining a positive, guest-focused atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service and at least 1 year of leadership. The role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Coach team members in real time and provide guidance.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and promotional communication.
• Model communication and accountability; relay updates from leadership.
