Job summary

Fulenwider Group's Mocksville restaurants (KFC and Taco Bell) are hiring a Shift Manager to captain the shift, supervising crew and ensuring smooth operations and outstanding customer service.

You will lead a team, manage daily cash handling, uphold high food-safety standards, monitor inventory, train new staff, and resolve issues quickly to keep the dining experience welcoming and efficient.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Availability: Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety Certification: Preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant activities during the shift, including staff management and customer inquiries.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Maintain high food safety standards in storage, prep, and handling.
• Handle cash registers, process payments, and maintain records.
• Keep inventory, order supplies, and manage stock rotation.
• Prepare shift reports with sales, labor costs, and incidents.
• Train new team members on policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentability of the restaurant.
• Assist promotions and specials to drive sales.
