Job summary

Fulenwider Enterprises is seeking a Shift Manager for its KFC and Taco Bell locations in Kings Mountain, NC. You will captain the shift, supervise staff, ensure smooth operations, and deliver excellent customer service.

You’ll lead a team, handle customer inquiries, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety certification preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift: oversee all restaurant activities during your shift, manage staff, handle customer inquiries, ensure policy compliance.
• Team leadership: motivate and guide the team to deliver exceptional service and a positive environment.
• Customer service: interact with customers, take orders, ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Food safety: maintain high food safety standards in prep, storage, and handling.
• Cash handling: operate registers, process payments, maintain records.
• Inventory management: track stock, order supplies, rotate inventory.
• Shift reports: document sales, labor costs, and incidents.
• Training: onboard new team members to policies and service standards.
• Problem-solving: handle unexpected issues and resolve conflicts quickly.
• Cleanliness: keep the restaurant clean and presentable at all times.
• Promotions and specials: assist in promoting new menu items and deals to drive sales.
