Job summary

Southern Rock Restaurants is seeking a Shift Leader to join our restaurant team, overseeing shifts, ensuring exceptional service, food quality, and a clean, safe environment. The role may involve stepping into various team positions and managing opening/closing duties and inventory.

The Shift Leader will coach staff, monitor labor metrics, supervise sanitation, and ensure guest satisfaction by following service standards while working hands-on with team members to deliver a great dining

Responsibilities

Lead, monitor, coach and train team members to ensure operational execution.
Adhere to scheduled labor metrics while monitoring sales during the shift.
Ensure cleaning duties are completed thoroughly and with integrity.
Be proficient in all restaurant positions and work hands-on with staff.
Work with the team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Follow Six Service Standards and PLUS 1 for guest satisfaction as needed.
Perform opening and closing duties including readiness checklists and cash handling.
Address guest issues or conflicts and report to the General Manager.
Place, check in, and store food and orders.
Conduct daily temperature checks to ensure food safety practices.
Maintain a safe, clean, and fun work environment.
Communicate effectively to management regarding essential information.
Report team member issues or concerns to the General Manager.
