Einstein Bros Bagels in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Shift Leader to support the General Manager by motivating the team and delivering a great guest experience. You will coach teammates, open and close the store, and help maintain quality and a safe, clean environment.

This role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for career growth, and the chance to start from a lead position within our bagel-focused brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy.
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
• Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team; provide feedback and coach teammates when needed.
• Open and close the store with little to no supervision.
• Maintain quality of the food and beverages served and keep a safe, clean store environment.
• Grow your career; many General Managers started as Shift Leaders and Team Members.
