Einstein Bros. Bagels in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Shift Leader to support the GM, motivate crew, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll open/close the store, coach teammates, and uphold food quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Position offers a flexible schedule with evenings off, competitive pay, tips, and employee perks like EAP and 401(k) options. Requires ServSafe and a valid license where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must possess, or be able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid state issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Responsibilities

• Shift Leaders collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience
• They empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set team morale and tone
• Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision
• Ensure quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment
