Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to guide bakery operations during your shift, baking, packaging orders, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will coach and motivate the Cookie Crew, delegate tasks, and uphold product quality, food safety, and speed of service in a fast-paced environment.

Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities to grow within one of the country’s fastest-growing bakery brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, restaurant, or other customer-focused environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to obtain food safety certifications as required by location.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during each shift to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members, providing direction and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations efficient.
• Maintain standards for product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates and collaborate with store leadership to optimize bakery operations.
• Support the team as needed to ensure success.
