Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will lead the Cookie Crew, bake and package orders, coach teammates, and ensure smooth bakery operations while delivering warm cookies and exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in retail/food service, strong communication, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Evening and weekend availability is typical. Growth opportunities exist within a fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude with a passion for guest experiences.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to obtain food safety certifications as required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• As the leader on duty, you will lead bakery operations during your shift with a focus on guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering great service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members with clear direction and feedback.
• Prioritize tasks to keep operations running efficiently and meet guest demand.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates with store leadership to optimize bakery operations.
• Jump in wherever needed to help your team succeed.
