Job summary
Isolatek International is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations for FireSolve® coating products in a fast-paced facility in Kansas City, KS. The role combines hands-on production with leadership duties, including directing operators, batching staff, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
The position requires 1–4 years of manufacturing experience, strong supervision skills, and the ability to manage priorities and equipment, with a 4/10
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/production experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow batch records and SOPs.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily direction, leadership, and support to Production Operators and Production Batchers.
- Assign work activities and establish daily production priorities.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure production activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Train, coach, and develop production employees on safe work practices, operating procedures, and production requirements.
- Monitor production output and adjust staffing to meet schedules.
