Job summary

PG1 Restaurants, owner of Jersey Mike’s, is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to join our team. You’ll help run daily operations, mentor 3–8 crew members, and ensure guest satisfaction during busy periods.

We offer hands-on training from day one, discounted meals, flexible scheduling, and clear paths to Assistant Manager and Store Manager roles. If you’re reliable, upbeat, and ready to lead by example, we want to meet you.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment and lead shifts.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership & Operations: Open/close, run shifts, lead a crew of 3–8 during busy periods.
• Food Quality & Prep: Bake bread, prep meals, slice meats and cheeses with precision.
• Standards & Accountability: Follow policies, core values, and operating standards; uphold quality.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure every sub is made correctly and maintain food safety and cleanliness.
• Business Goals: Handle cash, support labor control, inventory, and shift performance goals.
• Coaching & Culture: Mentor team, handle guest concerns professionally, promote positive culture.
