Job summary

RaceTrac in Florida is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on a busy shift. You will set the tone, supervise daily operations, and ensure guests have a welcoming experience.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service, 1+ year of leadership, and a High School diploma. You will handle training, inventory, cash handling, and maintain standards while growing with the company.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash handling, and store processes including write-offs and compliance.
