Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will guide a diverse crew, coach performance, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while delivering exceptional service.

Your role focuses on shaping a positive shift culture, meeting sales targets, and coordinating with store management to promote growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks with few breaks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set a cheerful, can-do tone to motivate the team.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time and offer guidance on shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
