Carl’s Jr. is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in the absence of the General Manager and support the management team to maximize sales and guest satisfaction. You will direct shift activities, supervise opening/closing duties, and ensure compliance with cash handling and POS procedures.

The role emphasizes high-energy guest engagement, quick decision-making, and leadership to drive team performance and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Stand for long periods, bend and stoop.
• Occasional work in walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Vision abilities including depth and color.
• Ability to operate a computer/Cash register.
• Able to work in hot environments and with cleaning products.
• Willing to cross-train on various positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality product and guest service to ensure total guest satisfaction with high energy and guest engagement.
• Establish an environment of trust and effective two-way communication across the organization.
• Plan, organize and implement daily operational routines and complete administrative duties.
• Supervise opening/closing duties as directed by management.
• Support goals and directives of Restaurant Management.
• Follow POS and cash handling procedures.
• Resolve guest questions/complaints promptly with management involvement.
• Delegate shift responsibilities and drive team performance.
