Job summary

Bojangles is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee all restaurant operations during assigned shifts, leading a team of up to 20 employees. The role requires enforcing policies, training crew, and ensuring safety and sanitation while meeting budgets and guaranteeing excellent customer service.

The position demands endurance for long shifts, punctuality, and a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years restaurant experience as a shift leader or higher.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Available to work days (beginning at 4:30 am) or nights (as late as 1:00 am) seven days a week.
• Successful completion of an eight week training program.
• Must have endurance for 10–12 hour shifts incl. crew duties.
• High standards of professionalism in dress, manners, conduct, and speech.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Be extremely organized with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations during assigned shift.
• Lead a team of up to 20 people per shift.
• Enforce company policies and motivate staff.
• Train and develop crew members.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for employees and guests.
• Perform cash handling, accounting duties, and budget adherence.
