RaceTrac is looking for a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a store team, set a positive tone, and ensure guest satisfaction on every shift. You will coach, train, and empower associates while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards.

In a fast-paced environment, you will manage inventory, cash handling, and daily store operations, with opportunities to advance into General or Co-Manager roles. You must lift up to 50 lbs and thrive on teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Model Communication & Accountability and relay updates from leadership to team.
• Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results.
• Support a culture rooted in accountability, respect, and teamwork.
