Job summary

WhiteWater Express in Austin, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to drive daily operations on a fast-paced car wash site. This full-time role leads the team, ensures customer service, and keeps the operation running smoothly during shifts.

Starting pay is $15–$17 per hour plus biweekly tips. We offer paid training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive, team-oriented environment. Candidates should be 18+, have a high school diploma, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active during shift.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight
• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
• Support store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality
• Encourage a positive, team-focused work environment
