Job summary

KFC is seeking a Shift Leader in Louisville, KY to drive shift performance and guest satisfaction. You will lead a fast-paced team, coach and guide Team Members, ensure food safety, and support with store operations and health standards.

You will work closely with the management team to execute daily tasks, manage cash and inventory, and promote KFC culture and values while delivering a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience
• 3 months shift lead experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Cash handling and basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with energy to meet KFC standards
• Coach and guide team to success
• Oversee task completion and maintain neat appearances
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy
• Provide regular feedback to RGM on performance
• Participate in training Team Members
• Resolve conflicts with RGM guidance
• Assist RGM in screening Team Members
• Assist with cash control, inventory and labor management
• Ensure proper product prep, rotation, and holding times
• Support facility maintenance and health/safety standards
