Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor in Los Angeles to manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.

You will help build and lead a high-performing team of hourly Team Members and participate in interviews. Starting hourly rate is $24.00–$28.00, with an extra $2/hour for certain shifts after midnight; comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant leadership experience minimum.
• Food safety certification per local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
