Job summary

Shake Shack in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Shift Leader to manage the flow of service and direct the work of Team Members across a shift, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality and speed. You will help build a high-performing hourly team and support with operations such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory while participating in interviews.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.).
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
