Job summary

RaceTrac is looking for a hands-on Shift Manager in Texas to lead a fast-paced store team and deliver excellent guest service. You will train associates, supervise food service, inventory, and cash-handling operations, and ensure store standards are met.

You will coach crew members, address guest concerns with empathy, and drive daily performance while maintaining a people-first culture and a strong sense of accountability across the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude and motivate the team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication and ensure proper execution of processes.
