Job summary

Break Time is seeking a Shift Leader to help manage daily operations, lead a customer-focused team, and ensure accurate banking, inventory, and reporting. You’ll drive friendly service, promote merchandising, and supervise shifts when the manager is away.

You will also handle cash controls, maintain cleanliness, and support food service programs while complying with policies and safety standards. This role requires reliability and a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer-service oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with transport to the bank.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Works well individually and in leading a team.
• Ability to perform math calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate a computer and other devices.
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to move products in cooler and freezer temperatures.
• Stand for long shifts and occasional ladder use.
• English language communication required.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and encourage team to do the same.
• Support day-to-day store operations including banking, inventory, and reporting.
• Assist with merchandising, pricing, promotions, and stocking.
• Supervise shifts in the absence of the manager and help train new employees.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Understand store finances and assist in loss control and expense management.
• Uphold food safety and service standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and assist with other duties as assigned.
