RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on each shift, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth store operations. You’ll motivate and coach staff, manage tasks such as food service, cleaning, stocking, and cash handling, and drive performance with a cheerful, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Model a cheerful demeanor and hold the team accountable.
• Direct team members while assisting with food service, store cleaning, cash wrap, and stocking.
• Provide real-time coaching to staff for consistent results.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism; escalate when needed.
• Train team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure inventory control and cash-handling procedures are followed.
• Communicate shift updates from leadership to associates; give timely feedback.
• Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
