Job summary

YAAAS TEA is seeking a dynamic Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations, opening and closing routines, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager to hit sales goals, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, inviting cafe.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s preferred), 1–2 years supervising in food service or retail, strong communication and organizational skills, and availability for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related fields preferred.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to meet sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer, employee, and management interactions.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work across various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong coffee and tea preparation foundation and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality food and beverage options.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations at YAAAS TEA, which encompasses both opening and closing routines.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing and resolving concerns swiftly and efficiently.
• Train, mentor, and inspire team members to serve top-notch beverages and food items in line with YAAAS TEA's high standards.
• Oversee inventory management tasks, such as ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and performing inventory audits.
• Uphold health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and organized cafe environment.
• Analyze sales and customer flow data to pinpoint improvement opportunities, devising strategies to boost sales and enhance customer retention.
• Support the Store Manager with various administrative duties, including scheduling, managing payroll, and overseeing team performance.
