Job summary

Wingstop in Indiana is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader to drive daily restaurant operations as the Manager on Duty, coaching teammates in real time and ensuring consistent execution of Wingstop's brand standards. You will oversee front- and back-of-house during shifts, monitor SOS performance, uphold food safety, manage cash and shift documentation, and deliver fast, friendly service that keeps guests coming back.

Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or shift leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts as MOD
• Deploy team members effectively across key positions (kitchen and front of house)
• Drive strong execution during peak and non-peak hours
• Monitor ticket times, order flow, and SOS performance
• Adjust staffing and manage breaks based on business needs
• Communicate clear goals and expectations to the team each shift
• Ensure food is prepared to brand standards
• Monitor inventory, prep readiness, and product quality
• Complete food safety checks including temperature logs
• Maintain sanitation standards and cleaning schedules
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accurate cash control
• Balance registers and complete shift documentation
• Execute opening and closing procedures with consistency
• Support deposit processes when assigned
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service on every shift
• Address and resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
• Ensure team members follow service standards
• Create a positive, high-energy environment that keeps guests coming back
